Volunteer Database
The YLA has been working on a database filled with volunteer opportunities for youth in the Nederland area. It is a way for youth to browse and search for local offerings. As more opportunities are added, the database will be organized by age, time commitment, and other factors that will allow teens to find a volunteer project that will work with their schedule and abilities.
By creating this database, it will hopefully be easier for teens to find the opportunities they need to help their community, build their resumes, and engage in healthy behaviors in a group. Community projects looking for new volunteers can also send in any opportunities they have via the contact page.
